DIY Natural Makeup Brush Cleaner
After last weeks post I thought I would share something a little bit lighter this week, not so serious. If anyone knows me, I LOVE me some DIY stuff. This one is oh so easy and so much better than store bought brush cleaner!
Just a couple ingredients will make for a yummy brush cleaner!
- 3 Tbsp Castile Soap (Baby Mild)
- 1/2 cup of Witch Hazel- not pictured
- 3-4 drops of Lemon essential oil
- 3-4 drops of Lavender essential oil
- cup of warm water
Castile soap is natural and can be used from head-to-toe. I also love shaving with it. Mix the 3 Tbsp into the warm cup of water.
Lemon is known to be cleansing and purifying. Lavender obviously smells amazing and is probably one of the most versatile oils. I sometimes add a little lavender to my moisturizer.
Now add your oils!
I try and clean my brushes once a week but lets be real it's more like 3ish weeks. Clean brushes can help with keeping those nasty breakouts away.
#EWWW!
Rinse.
Squeaky clean! Now you have smell good, clean brushes without all the yucky chemicals!
